Life College Trails

Includes:
Running
Hiking
Bushwacking if you get off the established trails.

Required Gear:
Pen and Paper
Running gear
Bring water.

Cautions:
Poison Ivy in places, but if you stay on the main trails you won’t be bothered.

How to get there:
From Downtown Atlanta Take I75 North outside I285 to Delk Road.
Take the EAST DELK RD exit number 261- toward GA-280/ LOCKHEED/ DOBBINS AFB.
Take the ramp toward GA-280/ LOCKHEED/ DOBBINS AFB.
Follow Delk past Cobb Parkway.
In around 2 – 2.5 mile from the interstate there is stop light.
Make the RIGHT turn onto BarClay and immediately into the parking lot on the RIGHT.

Since this is an Optional Event and you have a ‘fairly’ accurate map there will not be a specific loop given for you to follow. Feel free to look at the questions and the approximate locations you need to visit and then take off on your merry way.

Locate the Red Spur Trail that will lead you to the Village. If you come at the wrong time you may find the gate closed. However, it was open after 5:00 when we were there, so I don’t know what to say.

Locate the End of the Yellow Line Opposite the parking lot. This Yellow Line is a trail (not a Forest Service Road). Find where the Yellow Line Trail enters the woods noted by a Pink Spot. This trails enters the woods where you see this electric box.



Just in the woods from this Electric Box on the Yellow Line Trail 50 yards and off to the LEFT you’ll find this trail intersection cross sign.
